PEAK Writers Fellowship
Program Description
The PEAK Writers Fellowship (PWF) discovers and nurtures new and emerging Pasifika writers launching their careers in television. Founded by PEAK Co-Founder, Director, Screenwriter and Showrunner, Dana Ledoux Miller, this is the only writing program in Hollywood created by a Pasifika creative.
During the PWF, each Fellow will be paired with a high-level industry mentor to help them revise their original script into professional level writing samples to prepare them to land their first staff writing positions. Fellows will also participate in panels and discussions with top television and film industry professionals in order to arm them with the practical and business knowledge needed to succeed as a writer in the entertainment industry.
By the end of the PWF, Fellows must submit a completed script (after revisions done with mentors). Upon submitting, Fellows will receive a certificate of completion.
